Well, yes…sort of. Join me at Keystone College on November 21, when I’ll be giving a talk on “Creating Interactive Study Guides and Tutorials for Face-to-Face and Online Teaching.” This presentation is part of the 2019-20 Faculty Colloquia.
Though much of the talk focuses on PowerPoint, I won’t be discussing its use for presentations, but as an authoring tool for interactive learning. I’ll demonstrate how PowerPoint can be used to create study guides, tutorials, or other learning applications, especially for courses in history and the visual arts. I’ll also demonstrate how these applications can be distributed through learning management platforms such as Moodle or on the web.
The talk will be in the Fireplace Lounge in Evans Hall at 12:30 pm. Stop by if you’re in the neighborhood!
